Description

This project is to perform necessary studies, evaluations, and analysis for replacement of the existing traffic signal at the intersection of Mayfield Road at Providence Road with a single-lane roundabout. Improved traffic flow and safety benefits are potential advantages of a roundabout compared to the existing traffic signal at this location. Since this project is a Tier 3 Project in the TSPLSOT Program, projects in Tier 1 are accomplished first prior to moving onto Tier 2 or 3 projects, unless there is a re-allocation of funds or revenue collected permits moving onto the other tiers.
