| Project Description | City-Wide Resurfacing. The project includes milling, temporary traffic control, asphalt paving, thermoplastic striping, manhole adjustments and associated tasks. City-Wide Resurfacing. This yearÆs project we again focused our resurfacing efforts on the heart of the City (downtown) in preparation for the implementation of Downtown LCI Project and extend future efforts to its extremities. In addition to areas in close proximity to downtown, this yearÆs project list also contains other priorities and cooperative efforts identified by Staff. The Invitation for Bid (IFB#18-006, Roadway Improvements on Various City Roads) was advertised on May 16th. The bid opening was bid opening date was June 15th, 2018 at 3:00 pm at which time the four (4) bids were opened and read aloud. After completion of the bid evaluation, it was determined that Baldwin Paving Company, Inc. was the lowest responsive and responsible bidder with a bid price of $2,289,810.12. |
