ALP- 69 C3003 Roundabout (Mayfield Rd at Providence Rd) Tier 3 Operation and Safety Improvements TSPLOST2 Alpharetta Planning This project is to perform necessary studies, evaluations, and analysis for replacement of the existing traffic signal at the intersection of Mayfield Road at Providence Road with a single-lane roundabout. Improved traffic flow and safety benefits are potential advantages of a roundabout compared to the existing traffic signal at this location. Since this project is a Tier 3 Project in the TSPLSOT Program, projects in Tier 1 are accomplished first prior to moving onto Tier 2 or 3 projects, unless there is a re-allocation of funds or revenue collected permits moving onto the other tiers.
